Escape
From Harm’s Way.
The GST Canopy Eject Handle initiated this dramatic
escape for a US Air Force Thunderbird pilot. The
system is flight critical, and is responsible
for initiating the ejection sequence by activating
the firing of the escape system to remove the
canopy. Once freed the system can safely fire
the pilots ejection seat so he can escape the
doomed aircraft. This entire sequence occurs in
eight-tenths of a second. Only company’s
with the highest levels of quality, and capability
are awarded such critical applications of trust.
